A western/historical thriller set in Portland in 1880. Lindy Sue’s life is turned upside down when her fiance Tommy is murdered by Varla, the leader of a trio of female outlaws. Kidnapped by the gang, Lindy Sue desperately makes various attempts to escape, while Varla is unable to convince her Tommy’s death was an accident.

“Nothing to be afraid of.” Tommy, still on his horse Dagger, cracks a grin. “A bunch of dames.”
“How curious. Who are they?” Lindy Sue asks.
“I reckon we’ll soon find out.”
